We are honored to welcome actor, producer, director, writer, and philanthropist, Jay Ellis as this year’s Mental Health Impact Award recipient and keynote speaker.

Best known for his role as Lawrence on Insecure and his performance in Top Gun: Maverick, Jay uses storytelling to explore what it means to be human, on screen and off. He speaks candidly about mental health, self-talk, and the power of the stories we tell ourselves.

In his memoir, Did Everyone Have an Imaginary Friend (Or Just Me)?, Jay reflects on childhood identity, resilience, and how imagination shapes who we become.

Join us as we celebrate his impact and the transformative power of story.

Today, we celebrate International Women’s Day and National Women’s History Month, honoring the strength and leadership of women everywhere — especially the incredible women of Trillium Family Services

We celebrate the women making a difference in mental health every day — providing care, offering support, advocating for better access to resources, and creating safer, more supportive spaces for well-being. Women’s voices continue to shape conversations, break down stigma, and push for meaningful change across the field.

We also recognize pioneers like Virginia Satir and Karen Horney, whose groundbreaking work helped reshape mental health care and continues to inspire us today.

Let’s honor their contributions and remember: prioritizing mental health is an act of self-care for everyone.

March is Self-Harm Awareness Month 💚

You are not alone.
You are not “too much.”
You deserve support.

Self-harm is often misunderstood. Self-harm, also known as self-injury or non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI), refers to the act of hurting oneself as a way to cope with emotional distress. It is not always a sign of suicidal intent but rather a method some individuals use to manage overwhelming emotions, numbness, or feelings of lack of control.

Many people struggle in silence because of stigma and shame. But self-harm is a sign of emotional pain — not weakness. And support is available.

Friendship can look many different ways.

Make a Friend Day is a reminder that supportive relationships are built through patience, empathy, and care.

This Make a Friend Day, we’re honoring connections built on trust, compassion, and choice—where everyone gets to move at their own pace.

Wellness Wednesday: Part 4 - Practice Mindfulness 🧘‍♀️

Mindfulness helps us stay grounded, reduce stress, and improve focus. Take a few minutes each day to practice deep breathing or meditation. It’s about being present in the moment and letting go of what you can’t control. Start small, and watch the impact it has. 🌟
