We’re so grateful to My Voice Music, Bloodworks NW and Free Guitars 4 Kids for welcoming us to their open house and for their incredible generosity in donating 12 guitars to the youth in our care at Trillium Family Services.

These instruments represent so much more than music — they’re tools for healing, self-expression, and hope. Because of your kindness, more young people will have the chance to find their voice and creativity through the power of music.

Also, shout out to Ascending Flow for the awesome work they do!

🏘️ Preventing bullying is a community responsibility.
Teachers. Coaches. Bus drivers. Neighbors. Youth leaders.
Everyone plays a part in helping kids feel safe and supported.
When adults model empathy, set clear boundaries, and respond to harmful behavior, kids learn that bullying has no place here.

Here’s how you can help prevent and respond to bullying:
✅ Ask open-ended questions about their day
✅ Teach empathy and boundaries early
✅ Support assertiveness, not aggression
✅ Talk about safe vs. unsafe behavior—online and offline

👀 Bullying isn’t always what you think.
It can look like:
🔹 Being left out on purpose
🔹 Rumors or online harassment
🔹 Name-calling or constant teasing
🔹 Threats or physical harm
Bullying can be silent—and still deeply damaging. If your child is hurting, struggling, or withdrawn, it may be a sign something’s going on.

Check in. Ask questions. Keep the lines of communication open.
Every kid deserves to feel safe. 💛
