Maines Congressional District 2 has always been a divided political area. Congressman Golden has decided not continue in this role creating a very tight race for current candidates and those who will enter the primary.
Paul LePage is no friend of labor and proven to be anti union
during his two terms as Governor.
LePage abolished the misclassification task force we established (with support of union and open shop subcontractors) in his first week in office, removed all labor murals in the Dept of Labor stating he is “pro business over workers”, abolished PLA’s, and redefined the definition of an employee opening the door for ramped misclassification employees and tax fraud in Maines construction industry.

Thank you to members who attended tonight’s Planning Board meeting.
This project has been discussed for years, while tonights approval is a big step in the right direction we still have a lot of work in front of us to move this job through the permitting process.

The Portland Planning Board approved plans Tuesday to build a 30-story, mixed-use tower on Union Street in Old Port.
