2025 was really a transformative year for me, and I want to take that momentum into the New Year!

Opening up on social media is something super out of the box for me, but I know I have so many mommas and friends going through the same things! I am rooting, and praying for all of you in my little community and I want this to be a safe space for us all!

2026 is going to be the best year yet, I can feel it!

Perioral dermatitis humbles even the pros.

Just like a physician isn’t immune to cancer or a dentist isn’t immune to cavities — as an esthetician, I’m not immune to skin conditions.

This flare came on fast, and instead of panicking, I treated it clinically and intentionally.
This is my skin — 10 days apart.

What I implemented:
• Topical ivermectin (evenings, alternating)
• Sulfur mask on alternate nights
• Retinol cream every other night (2 full pumps — yes, even with PD, when done correctly)
• Azelaic acid every morning
• Continued my ZO Skin Health core regimen while stripping out unnecessary irritants

Perioral dermatitis is not one-size-fits-all, and what works depends on your skin barrier, triggers, and tolerance. But it is absolutely manageable and reversible with the right approach.
