UNE Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy students are collaborating in Interprofessional Anatomy! Last week, we connected with two PT students outside of the lab and asked about their experience working alongside students from another profession – Meet Katherine and Mike:

"It was nice to spent time with OT students in anatomy; they have such different perspectives. We appreciated learning about the human body with other professions."
– Katherine, UNE PT Student

Mike: "Up until now, we've been looking at the human body and gross anatomy more broadly. OT students were diving deeper into specific conditions and nuances. It was great to look at the same things but through different perspectives."
– Mike, UNE PT Students

This course is taught by WCHP Interprofessional Anatomy Director and Assistant Clinical Professor Mike Lawrence, MS, PhD, CSCS, CPSS, and supported by faculty including OT Assistant Clinical Professor Elise Ostensson, MS, OT, CSRS and PT Associate Professor Scott Stackhouse, PT, Ph.D.
