This spoke volumes to me. Consistency is not perfection. We throw in the towel on a goal because we think our consistency has to be perfect. Consistency is showing up even at midnight for 5 minutes if that is all the time you have. Consistency is making steps no matter the circumstances. Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction.

✨️Yesterday I started lifting heavy again for the first time. I have lifted heavy since 2015 due to neglect which turned into flaring up my scoliosis.

It took 2 years for me to get to a place when I can COMFORTABLY lift heavy without hurting my body.

🏋️‍♀️TWO years of rebuilding my back strength, core strength, breaking bad habits, building new haibits, and the discipline to show up.

🎯The morale of the story is, STAY CONSISTENT.
Don't allow one bad day to turn into a bad week then a month and even a year.
Let one bad day be what it is...just a hard, bad day.
