Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund The Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund educates and advocates to protect and advance sexual health We are a 501(c)(4), not-for-profit organization.

We engage in educational and non-electoral activity including legislative advocacy, voter education and grassroots organizing to ensure that Mainers have access to comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services in settings which preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of the individual. Through our PAC, we engage in electoral activities including endorsement and ca

mpaign support for candidates running for state office who support Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund’s mission, and who believe that politicians should not be involved in a woman’s personal medical decisions about her pregnancy. Governor Mills has signed at state budget that includes critical protections and funding to insure ongoing access to essential reproductive health care in Maine!

Despite continuing federal-level attacks on reproductive health care, Maine leaders are standing strong and defending access to care in our state.

The Governor, along with reproductive rights champions in the legislature who worked to ensure these protections for essential, lifesaving care were included in the state budget, has sent a clear message: Maine values reproductive rights and will protect access to reproductive health care.
