As the longest night of the year invites us inward, join Alex Argo () and Jess Fairclough () for a deeply restorative Winter Solstice experience designed to nurture stillness, renewal, and inner light.

This gentle workshop weaves together Yin Yoga postures, Reiki energy healing, and a soothing Yoga Nidra meditation to help you honor the turning of the season and create space for reflection and rebirth.

Alex will begin by leading students through a series of slow, grounding Yin postures designed to soften the body, release tension, and open energetic pathways. As you settle into each shape, Reiki will be offered by Jess to enhance the potency of the posture and provide energetic alignment, and a sense of profound calm.

To close, Jess will guide students into Yoga Nidra, a restful meditation sometimes called “yogic sleep.” Wrapped in warmth and stillness, you’ll journey through deep relaxation and inner awareness, inviting clarity, intention, and renewal for the season ahead.

This workshop is perfect for anyone seeking:
☾ deep rest and nourishment
☾ a respite from the holiday hustle
☾ gentle energetic support
☾ a mindful way to honor the solstice
☾ space to release the past and welcome the new

Allow yourself this quiet moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your inner light as we transition into winter together.

🌟December Restorative Yoga with Reiki & Sound Healing🌟

There will be two opportunities to join for Restorative Yoga with Reiki & Sound Healing in December!

Saturday, December 6th from 4-5:30 PM
Wednesday, December 17th from 7-8:30 PM

In Restorative yoga we allow the body to rest in postures fully supported by props so that there are fewer messages running from the muscles and bones through the central nervous system. This allows not only the body to relax, but also allow the brain to recharge.

As you rest in these postures, Sri will provide both sound healing and mini Reiki treatments to each participant.

Space is limited. Investment is $35. Please reserve your spot today. You do not want to miss this!

Another opportunity to practice Rolling with Jamie Navarro (.and.restore.me)!!

This Roll Model® Method class targets the areas where we most often store stress - head, neck, jaw, and shoulders. Using Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls, you’ll learn self-massage techniques that melt away tension, improve posture, and restore ease through the upper body.

Through guided rolling sequences and mindful breath practices, we’ll focus on unwinding the physical and mental tightness that builds up - especially during the busy holiday season.

Class closes with down-regulation and a restful savasana, leaving you feeling lighter, clearer, and more at ease from head to heart.

Perfect for all levels - no prior experience needed. This class is just $18 to drop in or you can use a class pass.

Slow Flow with Aleksandra () on 11/25 will be a donation class for Sea Change Yoga (). This class is open to all and can be taken in person OR on Zoom!

Aleksandra is not only a teacher at Rosemont but has been a long time teacher for Sea Change. Sea Change is a non-profit that brings the healing power of yoga to folks who may not traditionally have access to yoga and mindfulness. Classes are totally free for the students.

Some examples of people they serve are:
🌊 People in recovery from Substance Use Disorder
🌊 Justice impacted people in jails and prison
🌊 Youth
🌊 Seniors

Programs like these are working harder than ever to meet the needs of our community. It is through public support, grant money, and generous individuals that Sea Change brings the healing power of yoga to people who may not otherwise have access to this life-changing practice.

We hope you will join us! You can also donate directly to Sea Change at https://www.seachangeyoga.org/donate1
