I am pleased to announce this 8-Week Grief Workshop Series for Latino Providers in partnership/collaboration with Washington County. The main goal of this workshop series is to provide support to Latino behavioral health and SUD providers during times of fear, uncertainty, and grief that the Latino community and Latino clinicians are experiencing, including ways to manage/cope with grief while helping others. Workshops will be bilingual (Spanish/Spanglish). Limited spots available. Priority will be given to providers who live and/or practice in Washington County. REGISTER TODAY!!!

We had a great time providing a presentation/plática at a youth retreat. It was very impressive the response that we received from the youth. So grateful to be given the opportunity to facilitate a presentation like this🙏🏽

As the holidays approach, there are so many memories that can become activated, this leading to our grief feeling heavier. Because no one should go through this alone, the goal of this workshop/conversation is to provide a space where you can share your story and have your grief witnessed. We will explore ways to navigate/cope with the grief related feelings and emotions that we can experience during the holidays.

Whether you are the one experiencing grief or are helping someone who is going through grief, remember that grief is heavy and complex and deserves to have a space to be shared/witnessed.

The one hour workshop/conversation in English will be taking place on November 22nd at 3:00 pm and the one in Spanish will be taking place on November 24th at 5:00 pm. Send a text message to register or if you have any questions!

Así como las festividades se acercan, también hay muchas memorias que pueden ser activadas, esto llevando a qué nuestro duelo se sienta más intenso. Porque nadie debe pasar por esto solo/a, la meta de este taller/conversación es proveer un espacio donde puedan compartir su historia y sentir su duelo escuchado. En el taller/conversación exploraremos maneras de como manejar/regular los sentimientos/emociones relaciónadas con el duelo que podemos experimentar durante las festividades.

Ya sea que usted esté experimentando el duelo o este acompañando a alguien que está en duelo, recuerde que el duelo se puede sentir muy pesado/intenso y complejo y merece un espacio para ser escuchado.

El taller/conversación de una hora en inglés tomara lugar el 22 de noviembre a las 3:00 pm y el de Español tomará lugar el 24 de noviembre a las 5:00 pm. Mande un mensaje de texto para registrarse o por si tiene alguna pregunta!

Mi colega y yo los invitamos a una plática virtual este 15 de noviembre a las 3:00pm hora del pacífico. Hablaremos de miedos y preocupaciones que hoy afectan a nuestra comunidad latina. También practicaremos técnicas para reconocer y regular nuestras emociones en medio de tanta incertidumbre. Sabemos que estos momentos quizá traen confusión, temor y duelo a nuestros hogares, por tanto queremos honrar su experiencia.
