Happy Birthday 🎂 to the man who gives us permission to rest.

I’ve always loved this photo of Tony. Kind eyes, soft soul, sturdy presence, the embodiment of who he is 🕊️

We’ve been on this ride together for quite some time. 14 years of friendship, 11 years teaching at YoYo, individually and collectively a time of immense change.

Through it all, Tony has remained steadfast, loyal, kind and generous with a refreshing amount of wit and humor. His teaching comes from a place of service, without ego and with a deep desire to help. A true gift!

OG YoYo, Emily Uecker, is taking over the living room on 4/12 after Kristi’s 1015a Happy Yoga 🌞 to lead a playful writing session.

Emily has spent years exploring how writing helps uncover meaning, process experiences, and connect mind + body. In her own words, “For me, I write to discover the meaning of my experiences, to investigate my modes of thinking, and to learn deeper truths about myself and the world. Writing helps uncover what is buried so we can shake off old stories and begin new ones.”✨

Post class she will lead us through simple writing exercises to help you shake off old stories and bring your thoughts to life 📝

Plus, our friends at Portland Juice Co. will be here pouring fresh juice!🧃

Compassionate, intentional and full of heart, it was beyond evident how much you poured into these offerings for all of us to dive in deep.

Saturday Night Chakras: a ritual for some; an experience for many. At last night’s grand finale, I overheard many melancholy murmurs expressing immense gratitude for the opportunity and sadness around its ending.

Perhaps it’s just the beginning 🤔
