With 24-hour, physician staffed emergency room and ambulance service, outpatient services that include diagnostic imaging and a clinical laboratory, respiratory therapy, pulmonary function testing, smoking cessation, and a telemedicine program, Eastern Plumas Health Care delivers outstanding care. With a combined total of 66 beds, EPHC has skilled nursing facilities in Portola and Loyalton that offer both short term rehabilitation, including Medicare Part A post-surgical rehabilitation and therapy, as well as long term care. The Rotary Club of Portola, Eastern Plumas Health Care, The Interact Club of Portola & Plumas Crisis Intervention & Resource Center worked together to bring a Thanksgiving Dinner to 120 families in Portola!
