Hello Edgewood Family and Friends!

We’re kicking off our November Food Drive to help support those in need this holiday season. Donations can be dropped off in person at the Front Desk or shipped directly to Edgewood through our Amazon Wishlist link below!

We’re collecting non-perishable items such as:
🫘 Canned soups and vegetables
🍝 Pasta and sauce
🥫 Peanut butter and jelly
🍚 Rice and boxed meals
🥣 Cereal and oatmeal
🥫 Canned meats and tuna

🎃 Spirit Week Day 5: Halloween!

What a spooktacular finale! We kicked things off with a spirited 👻 round of bingo and then partied in style at our annual Halloween bash. Costumes were on full display! From clowns to cowboys, and everything in between!

And the moment we’ve all been waiting for… Pumpkin Contest Winner goes to… Laura! 🎉🎃

A huge thank you to everyone for making this week so much fun!

🎃👻 Halloween Spirit Week Day 4! 👻🎃

Today was Halloween Hat & Hair Day, and our creativity was on full display! From spooky hats to wild hairdos, our residents and staff brought the Halloween fun! 🧙‍♀️🎩✨

We also gathered for an indoor "campfire" complete with spooky stories, making the day extra cozy and fun! 🔥📖

🦸‍♀️Halloween Spirit Week – Day 3: Disney vs. Superheroes! 🏰

It was so much fun seeing who took which side! 💪✨ Some embraced the magic of Disney, while others showed off their superhero strength!

Later this afternoon, we braved the cooler temps to spread some Halloween cheer and pass out candy to our neighbors and friends! 🍬🎃

Thank you to everyone who donated candy and made this event possible!

🎃👻 Halloween Spirit Week – Day 2: Jack o’ Lantern Day! 👻🎃

Today, our building was filled with black and orange everywhere!

We also kicked off our Pumpkin Decorating Contest, and we need your help to choose the winner! Check out the pumpkins and vote by commenting the number of your favorite. The lucky winner will receive a $50 prize! 🏆✨

The City of Portsmouth has moved Trick-or-Treat due to weather. So we will be welcoming trick-or-treaters on Wednesday at 3:30 PM as an early start to their evening full of fun! 🎃

Trick or Treat rescheduled to Wednesday, October 29 from 5-8 pm due to the impending storm.

Check out Burt and Kali's incredible monster creation! 👻 They've built this awesome candy collector for our upcoming Trick or Treat event at Edgewood!

We're looking for candy donations to make this a super sweet experience for all our trick-or-treaters. If you can help, please bring individually wrapped bags of candy to the front desk.

This year’s Trick-or-Treat event is happening on Thursday, October 30th at 2:45 PM 🍬🎃

Emma joined the Edgewood team in February of 2024 and we have all been better for it! Emma's nomination comes from a grateful resident who stated that "Emma is a hard worker who always takes great care of me. She is really, really, really good!"
