🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we gathered to honor all who have served our country, especially our staff and residents who are veterans right here in our Cedar family. ❤️

Residents and staff enjoyed a heartfelt live music performance by two of our talented maintenance team members and one of our LNAs 🎶👏 Their music filled the halls and reminded us of the courage, service, and unity that Veterans Day represents.

Thank you to all the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve. We honor you today and every day. 💙❤️🤍

Jean is one of our incredible LNAs who brings both heart and humor to Cedar every single day. He’s known for his kindness, dedication, and sense of humor, always making residents smile and keeping staff on their toes (especially when he’s sneaking around trying to scare someone! 👻😂).

Whether he’s lending a helping hand, sharing a laugh, or joining in on every themed day and event, Jean’s positive energy shines through in everything he does.

We sweetened up this Wednesday morning with donuts from Lovebirds Donuts! Nothing boosts midweek morale quite like fresh donuts!

Last week, our staff celebrated CROCTOBER with cozy crockpot meals and comfy Crocs! There were 4 delicious meals and we were all so impressed! Nothing brings people together like good food, good laughs, and good footwear 😄

Halloween at Cedar was SUCH a blast! 👻

Thank you to everyone who participated. Both residents and staff had such fabulous, creative costumes! The Halloween party included "bobbing" for apples, "mummify" the Administrator and Director of Nursing, costume contest, cupcakes, and more!

Happy National Physical Therapy Month! Cedar Healthcare is truly so lucky to have these wonderful physical therapists! (And entire rehab team!). We cannot thank you enough for all you do for our residents and their families. They were treated to a delicious Chipotle lunch and got these adorable shirts!

Today we had JEAN Day! Staff came dressed in their favorite jeans and jean jackets, and to top it off, Jean, one of our LNA's who LOVES to cook, made everyone chili for lunch. 🌶️💙
