There are plenty of times we meet people on their hardest days… but last week, we got to be a part of the happiest. Our Pike County crew had the privilege of delivering a baby in our ambulance. Moments like this remind us why we train, show up each day and why this work matters.

A big shout out to two of our newest EMTs, Dakota and Madyson, for their quick thinking and bravery. They rolled up on a semi crash and extricated the driver from the burning vehicle. Thank you Dakota and Madyson for your quick actions! 🚑

Mike graduated from the first paramedic program offered at Shawnee State University. He truley loved EMS. He said find a career you love and you will never work a day in your life.

People would often run into Mike and ask how he was doing and he would always respond, “I’m living the dream.”
