The PHD Medical Reserve Corp (MRC) is now teaching Stop the Bleed classes every month! These classes are open to everyone in the community.

What You Need to Know:
Easy to Attend: Classes are held at different spots around the city. We offer them on evenings and weekends so they fit your schedule.

Learn from Pros: You will learn from the MRC leader and trained volunteers. They will show you how to save a life during an emergency.

Hands-on Practice: You won't just watch; you'll get to practice the skills yourself.

High blood pressure is a main cause of heart disease. Almost half of all adults in the U.S. have high blood pressure. This puts them at risk for heart attacks and strokes.

Right now, only 1 out of every 4 people with high blood pressure has it under control. It is very important to know your numbers!

How to help your heart:
1. Get a Check-up: Visit a doctor to see if your blood pressure is high.
2. Eat Healthy: Try to eat less salt and more fruits and vegetables.
3. Stay Active: Moving your body helps keep your heart strong.

We’re wearing red to support National Wear Red Day and American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women.

Heart disease is a leading health threat for women, but by wearing red, we’re helping to raise awareness and encourage everyone to put their heart health first.

Whether it’s a bright sweater or a simple red tie, we’re proud to stand together for a great cause.

Let's make a effort to:
1. Moving more 🏃‍♀️
2. Eating smart 🍎
3. Reducing stress 🧘‍♂️
4. Getting regular check-ups 🩺

❤️ Check in on your heart today!
