Occupy Portsmouth

Occupy Portsmouth We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care.

We are a peaceful, nonviolent, non-partisan movement, standing up for our rights to peaceably assemble and petition our government for the redress of our grievances. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything.

Occupy Portsmouth Ohio is with NYC in spirit tonight. NYPD police scanners reporting over 32,000 protestors in the streets tonight! You cannot evict an idea whose time has come!

11/16/2011

This Thursday at the Esplanade, Solidarity Demonstration from 12-6pm. Occupy protesters across the country are facing heavy pressure from our government and are being violently evicted from their sites by the masses. We need to show our support! We will not let our right to free speech be taken away from us!

"You cannot evict an idea whose time has come!"

We stand in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street in NYC and deplore the violent ejection of the protestors from Zuccotti Park. Such police actions will only make us stronger. We, the 99%, can already claim victory. The campaign to restore the republic has only just begun!
