This week's Walk-in Wednesdays, we're having a talk with Grief. 3/25 | 10a-7p | Music Meditation: 10-11am / 6-7pm
💔 Grief is the anguish experienced after significant loss, usually the death of a beloved person or ending of relationships. Grief often includes physiological distress, separation anxiety, confusion, yearning, obsessive dwelling on the past, and apprehension about the future. 💔
💓 Grief is a process and each person's experience and/or how they cope during the 7 stages, are not identical. Some people like myself can move through the stages that appear quick to others, but you really can't put a deadline on anyone else's grief journey.
If you begin to feel emotional during or after this prayer, allow the emotions to come to the surface. CRY, YELL, SCREAM, or whatever else you need to do (that does not bring harm to yourself or others). Holding the emotions in, suppressing or ignoring them will only cause more harm than good and form energetic blockages which will eventually cause dis-ease in your physical body. 💓
💚 Yes, there will be days when fear and doubt try to creep back in and the second those intrusive feelings appear, do this. — Place your hands on your heart. Take 3 deep breaths in and with each inhale direct air towards your abdomen, then exhale directing the breaths towards your heart center (tell yourself mentally you are exhaling from your heart). This will help to release those thoughts and emotions with love. You can try this now if you rather not be apart of the Reiki prayer. 💚
Don't forget to journal...whether it's written 📝 or 🗣️ spoken in voice notes, Journal everything you feel or words you didn't get the chance to say. If you desire to burn and release that energy (in a fire safe container), fold the paper 3 times away from your body, turning it counterclockwise after each fold.
