Hearing aids are like 👓 eyeglasses.
MYTH! 😎 Eyeglasses are a mechanism to immediately assist the eye to focus and do not require vision training to wear them. Hearing aids are responsible for helping the 🧠 brain perceive pitch, duration, loudness, timbre, sonic texture and spatial location of sounds. With hearing aids, the brain needs time to adjust to the 🔊 sound coming through the hearing instrument. MYTH: Eyeglasses are a mechanism to immediately assist the eye to focus and do not require vision training to wear them. Started in 1996 by Dr. Thomas deTar, the clinic took its name from Saint Joseph, the patron of compassionate care of the sick and injured. We offer a full spectrum of medical and surgical treatments, in a friendly, personal and professional environment. Through trusting relationships, we are committed to assist our patients in achieving their best health.

We are located in Post Falls at: 323 N Spokane Street, Suite 100 Post Falls, Idaho 83854 (208) 777-1320

We are located in Coeur d’Alene in the Riverstone development at: 2288 N Merritt Creek Loop, Suite 100 Coeur d’Alene, Idaho 83814 (208) 215-2284

Hours for both locations are: 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday
