March is Workplace Eye Wellness Month 🦺👓

Your eyes work just as hard as you do—so keeping them protected on the job is a must!

No matter your workplace, eye safety should always come first:
• Always wear proper safety glasses or goggles when working with tools, chemicals, or debris
• Use blue light protection if you’re on screens all day to reduce strain and fatigue
• Keep your work area clean to avoid dust and particles getting into your eyes
• Never rub your eyes with dirty hands—this can lead to irritation or infection
• Make sure your eyewear fits properly and is in good condition (scratched lenses can reduce visibility!)
• Know where your nearest eye wash station is—just in case

Even small habits can make a big difference when it comes to protecting your vision.

Dry, irritated eyes? We’ve got another tool to help! 👀

At Prism Eye Center, we offer Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT)—a gentle treatment originally researched by NASA that uses soothing red and infrared light to help reduce inflammation in the eyelids and support healthier tear production.

The best part? It’s completely non-invasive and relaxing. You simply lay back, close your eyes, and let the warm light do the work. ✨

LLLT can help with dry eye, styes, and chalazions, and we often pair it with other treatments like MiBoFlo and IPL for even better results.

🛠️ Heads Up from Prism Eye Center!

This Friday, February 27, our office will be closed for the day while we have new flooring installed. We’re excited to freshen things up and make our space even more welcoming for you!

We wanted to give our patients a little advance notice so you can plan your week accordingly. If you need to pick up contacts, schedule an appointment, or have any questions, please reach out before Friday and we’ll be happy to help.

We’ll be back to our regular hours the following Monday and look forward to seeing you soon in our updated space!
