The Autism Society of Idaho is hosting a Parent Night Out — a simple, genuine opportunity for parents to take a break, breathe, and handle whatever they need to handle, while knowing their family member is in good hands, having fun, and supported by people who care.

This event is completely free for families.

Our volunteers are stepping up and giving their time so parents can step away for a few hours — whether that means rest, holiday shopping, errands, or just catching their breath during a busy season.
When: Friday, December 19th between 5–8 PM
Location: 3591 E. 3rd Avenue, Suite 104, Post Falls, ID

🍕 Pizza and beverages provided for attendees and volunteers.

The best Santa ever is doing free Santa photos tomorrow and they even have a low sensory time slot!

Free photos with Santa is tomorrow, Saturday December 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.!🎅

🦃Feeling Thankful 🦃

As we head into the holiday season, I just want to take a moment to share how truly grateful I am.

I’m thankful for our incredible staff, whose dedication, compassion, and patience make all the difference every single day. Your hard work helps our kids grow, learn, and reach their full potential and I couldn’t do this without you.

I’m equally thankful for our amazing clients and families who trust us to be part of their journey. It is an honor to support your children, celebrate their successes, and do the work I love every day.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted, and we’ve had so many new families join our page, so we wanted to reintroduce who we are and what we do!

At Believe & Achieve, we provide evidence-based, compassionate ABA services to children and teens with developmental disabilities. Our center in Post Falls is designed to be a supportive, fun, and naturally structured environment where kids can learn, grow, and truly shine.

What We Do:
• 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) focusing on communication, behavior skills, social skills, and independence
• Naturalistic, play-based learning because kids grow best when they’re engaged and having fun
• Functional Communication Training, helping kids learn how to ask for what they need (breaks, help, choices, etc.)
• Daily living and self-help skills, tailored to each child’s age and ability
• Social skills practice in natural settings
• Parent collaboration & goal planning.
• Behavior support for challenging behaviors such as emotional regulation, refusals, anxiety, eloping, and more
• Coordination with case managers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, schools and more to ensure consistency and wraparound support

We believe every child deserves to feel safe, capable, and valued and our team works every day to make that happen.
We love helping kids believe in themselves and achieve their full potential together.

This week I did a little staff appreciation with a fun theme for each day. My staff work hard and deserved this week! We have some staff moving on in their careers so they will be missed.
