Taking a holistic approach to healing and health has been a lifelong journey for me. I was raised on a family farm in northwestern Montana near Flathead Lake. Farming was a way of life. We raised certified seed potatoes, alfalfa, barley & wheat along with cows, horses, chickens, pet sheep & pigs. We had a large family and like all farm families, we pitched in and worked hard. It was a perfect paradise, we played as hard as we worked. We rode horses and drove tractor and big farm trucks all through the season of growing and harvesting. All seven of us kids and Grandpa helped out with every aspect of the farm, from irrigating and roguing potatoes to harvesting hay and milking cows and of course all the household tasks as well. I learned a lot growing up on the farm and more than anything else, I established a way of life that I love and nurture everyday here on my mountain top sanctuary in Potomac, Montana.

In addition to the herb, flower and vegetable gardens, I have been wildcrafting here in the mountains and valleys of Montana for as far back as I can remember. Long before my time, the Native peoples gathered together in what they called Camas Prairie Valley during the summer months starting in May to gather the bulb of the Camas, a beautiful blue fower in the lily family, which used to grace the lower valleys in vast meadows. Found only here and there now, it was at one time a plentiful food source. Later in the summer they moved higher up to gather all types of wild berries including huckleberries, wild raspberries, service berries and thimbleberries for drying.

Our Herbal Healing Salves & Balms, Lotions and Creams are made in small batches from organic herbs fresh from my botanical gardens and wildcrafted from the surrounding mountain meadows and forests.
