Dr. Gregory K. Terpstra DO, DABFP

Dr. Terpstra is a board certified family practice physician in Potosi, MO. He is married to Wilma Terpstra and together they have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. Dr. Terpstra began his career in the medical field serving as a Special Forces medic for the United States Army beginning in 1967. He then continued his military and medical career by becoming a U.S. From that point he attended the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Heath Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa from which he obtained a Doctorate Degree. In the army he also continued training as a field and flight surgeon obtaining several awards. Dr. Terpstra has been practicing in Potosi, MO since 1996. During that time he has been active in the community serving as the Potosi High School Football team physician, Medical Director for the YMCA of the Ozarks, Medical Director of Potosi R-3 School District, and Board Chairman of the Pregnancy Resource Center, and former Board Chairman of the Washington County Health Department among other community commitments. In the army he served time overseas in 2005 during the Iraqi war. He was promoted to Colonel in 2006 and retired from his service in the Army in 2007. Dr. Terpstra is currently affiliated with Parkland Health Center and St. He strives to provide excellent care to his patients and the community.
