If you buy generic rewetting drops, be aware that the FDA has just recalled several brands of generic drops, for concerns over their sterility. In the St. Louis area, some Walgreens generics are affected. Here is a link to the full list of brands. At this time, no name brand products are affected.
The FDA said the eye drops were distributed by companies such as Kroger, Walgreens, H-E-B, Military Exchanges, and others.
