Schuylkill Center is very happy to partner with our friends at Penn State – Schuylkill campus to offer a day of field learning for Registered Nurse students that will be graduating this May. This program offers a day of introduction to nursing opportunities available in skilled nursing facilities, and is very informative and packed with information and interaction with our residents and staff. Pictured here is our Director of Nursing, Tiffany, along with some of the Penn State soon to be nurses! Thank you for sharing your day with us!

Schuylkill Center is so proud of the strong and vibrant team we have in our Activities Department, providing quality activities of interest to our residents. Today, we honor our Activity Professionals for their efforts in keeping our residents stimulated and engaged with things that entertain and inspire them adding to their overall well-being. Schuylkill Center is proud to honor our hard-working Dietary staff during “Pride in Food Services” month. This team works very hard to produce meals, desserts, drinks and specialty foods for our entire resident population every single day of the year, and we are proud of them and appreciate all they do! We celebrated them with cake and cupcakes for a job well done! Thank you, Dietary team!

Schuylkill Center was happy to assist in honoring volunteer Joe Taglieri when he was awarded the Legacy Award from AmeriCorps Seniors and the Schuylkill County RSVP program. Joe has been a very active volunteer at Schuylkill Center for many years, and prior to that he was a volunteer ombudsman. Congratulations Joe on being recognized for your many years of dedicated service to residents!
