The Activities Director had a blast pulling off some playful pranks for April Fool’s Day at Schuylkill Center!

Here’s a glimpse of the fun:
*Administrative offices received a festive makeover 😉Pranks included:
*Rubber banding the phones
*Confetti on desks
*Balloon-covered floors
*Chairs wrapped in gift wrap
*Tape placed under computer mice
*Free tickets to absolutely nothing
*A Saran-wrapped doorknob
*A fake calendar was distributed to residents, announcing the cancellation of activities for the day because she “lost her marbles.”

Even some residents got in on the fun, talking about snowstorms arriving on Easter Sunday. Let's hope that doesn't come true!
In the end, the residents got back at the Activities Director, Meg, by returning the favor with her own crafty creations.

Staff and residents at Schuylkill Center are having a blast this St. Patrick's Day! With 12 leprechauns hiding throughout the facility, you can "catch" one for a prize! They also put together a fun St. Patrick's Day themed lottery board, with the winner being announced later today! Awesome job, team Schuylkill! Looks like a ton of fun!

We are proud of our Vets at Schuylkill Center! Each morning you can find them around the building chatting and joking around with each other. It is truly an honor to serve and care for our Veterans.
Currently at Schuylkill Center we care for 23 veterans.
1 Airforce
2 Marines
2 Navy
18 Army & Army Reserves
Out of those 23 vets, some are highly decorated.
*Pictured: Andrew Hertz, Army 1953-1955 (also his picture in the globe) and John Schmidt, Army 1967-1969 Bronze Star recipient. One served in Korean War and the other in Vietnam War.
