Not only do we offer excellent orthopedic care, we also offer the community the following services:
OrthoExpress: At Orthopedic Associates we are pleased to offer OrthoExpress, no appointment necessary, walk-in, urgent care services provided by an orthopedic specialist. Our providers are dedicated to the care and treatment of the musculoskeletal system. This includes bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves and the spine. This service is offered for a recent injury or pain that has occurred in the last two weeks. If you have been experiencing chronic pain or have been injured for longer than two weeks, please schedule an appointment by calling or texting 845-454-0120 or by clicking the link to schedule an appointment online. http://www.orthoadc.com/medical-appointment-request/
Imaging Services: We offer a complete range of state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic services such as X-ray, MRI, and EMG studies, allowing you to receive the care you deserve all under one roof.
OPTIONS Laser Therapy: A non-invasive treatment that assists pain, inflammation, and arthritis and helps patients recover faster after a recent injury or surgery.
Concussion Management: A concussion is a functional injury to the brain, so CT scan of the brain and most MRIs are frequently normal. Headaches, blurry vision, dizziness, fatigue, and difficulty sleeping and concentrating are some of the more common symptoms; however, appetite loss, depressed mood, and sensitivity to bright lights and noises can also be signs of a concussion. No matter how big or small the concussion Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County and Dr. Karl Ziermann can help!
Podiatry: Your foot health can be a clue to your overall health. For example, joint stiffness could mean arthritis. Tingling or numbness could be a sign of diabetes. Swelling might indicate kidney disease, heart disease or high blood pressure. Good foot care and regular foot checks are an important part of your overall health. If you suffer from pain or poor foot health, our podiatrist, Dr. Brian Reade can help!
Bone Health and Osteoporosis: Whether you are already suffering from osteoporosis or looking to take preventative steps to lower your risk of developing osteoporosis in the future, Dr. Ziermann will help create a regimen that will work for you!
Pain Management: Trained at some of the top teaching hospitals in the county, our Pain Management Team utilizes a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating the cause of your pain by tailoring an individual plan made specifically for you. We incorporate all aspects of your medical background and history with the latest in diagnostic testing to determine what the primary and possible secondary causes of your pain may be. Throughout the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, our goal is getting you back to what you love with the belief that our therapies are being done with you, not to you.
Regenerative Medicine: The process of creating living, functional tissues to repair or replace tissue or organ function lost due to age, disease, damage, or congenital defects. This field holds the promise of regenerating damaged structures in the body by stimulating previously irreparable cells to heal themselves. Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County is proud to have two of the finest board-certified, fellowship-trained physiatrists in the area to be able to offer you and the Hudson Valley this innovative treatment for managing your pain!
Varicose Veins: If you have varicose veins or experience leg pain and fatigue you may have venous reflux disease. Venous reflux disease develops when the vein valves that keep blood flowing from your legs to your heart become damaged or diseased. This can cause blood to pool in your legs and result in dilated or varicose veins. Don't wait for your varicose veins to become something worse. Schedule an appointment today with Dr. Vishal Rekhala to diagnose if your health is at risk and to see if you qualify for the minimally invasive ClosureFast procedure.
