We are delighted to welcome board-certified dermatologist Michael Romano, MD, to the Hudson Dermatology team. Dr. Romano sees patients in our Fishkill office and provides comprehensive medical and surgical dermatologic care for patients of all ages. He has particular expertise in complex medical dermatology, including cutaneous lymphoma, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, autoimmune blistering disorders, and challenging cases of acne, eczema, psoriasis, and hidradenitis suppurativa.

A native of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Dr. Romano earned his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College and his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He completed his internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center, where he trained extensively in diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of skin conditions. Dr. Romano has been caring for patients in the Hudson Valley since 2018 and is proud to continue serving the community through Hudson Dermatology.

Known for his thoughtful, thorough, and patient-focused approach, Dr. Romano is committed to helping individuals and families achieve their best skin health with clarity and confidence.

We are pleased to welcome licensed esthetician Genesis Romero to our Nanuet office. She provides a range of aesthetic services, including facials, chemical peels, excimer laser treatments, and laser hair removal. She studied at Ulster County Community College and earned her esthetician license from Capri Cosmetology Learning Center in 2022. Genesis serves as a medical assistant to our doctors and physician assistants, complementing her aesthetic skills with medical dermatology experience.

Today, Dr. Joshua Kaminetsky participated in an interactive dermatology review session with residents at the Phelps Family Medicine Residency Program.

As part of the program’s ongoing initiative to strengthen diagnostic skills, Dr. Kaminetsky was invited to review and discuss challenging dermatologic cases with residents. During the session, he shared his expertise in identifying and managing complex skin conditions, providing valuable clinical insights and practical guidance for future family physicians.
