I received my first adjustment while I was a teenager. Up until that point, I did not know that profession even existed. I was BLOWN AWAY when I'd learned about why I had pain and even more impressed that I could regain my health without the use of drugs or surgery or injections.

Imaging studies are nice because they allow us to 'see' what is going on inside our bodies.
That said, we shouldn't let our imaging results define who we are. Often, you can have a disc bulge on an imaging study like an MRI and only be in mild discomfort. Or, you can have an imaging study taken and something looks 'concerning', but have minimal pain.
The point is, use it as a measurement tool, but continue to rehabilitate yourself and watch the results come. They nearly always do, but you still have to put in the work.

Standing tall is an oversimplified expression, but there is truth in it.

Having a strength routine that keeps you upright, mobile, strong and resilient is achievable, but you do need to work at it.
You need to monitor your posture, use ergonomics to your advantage to reduce stressors during the day, get adequate sleep, hydrate, proper nutrition and this will help ease the load on your body so that, life-long, you have a posture that reflects the work you've put into it.

Choosing every day brings us either closer or further away from our health goals. The body needs time to heal, so stick with it.
Prescriptions and OTC meds masks symptoms and should be used as a last resort, only after you've done all you can naturally.

Have you ever seen an indoor plant growing just outside of direct sunlight?
What happens?
That plant will curve its leaves and sometimes stem to angle itself towards what it needs.
Fortunately for us, Gravity is the thing that controls some of our posture.
Over time, when we slouch, we are relying on the tensile forces of our discs and ligaments - and as such, wear them down faster then they are supposed to.
The result - that 'old people' posture that you've been dreading has now become a reality.
To avoid it, and the subsequent pain it can cause, I recommend you undertake a regular regimen of strengthening your soft tissues, a minimum of 3x/week.
More, for better results.
