A quick reminder from today’s patient: grapes and raisins can cause serious kidney damage in dogs.
Because the owner acted fast, we were able to treat right away and save them a costly emergency visit. We love helping our community keep their pets safe! 💚🐾

🦃🥧 Thanksgiving is almost here!
As you prep the feast, here are a few quick reminders to keep your furry family members safe and happy!

🍗 Skip the table scraps — fatty foods can lead to tummy troubles
🍖 No cooked bones — they can splinter and cause serious injury
🧅 Keep onions, garlic, grapes, and raisins out of reach
🗑️ Secure the trash (pets LOVE a holiday dumpster dive!)
🚪 Make sure guests keep doors closed so pets don’t slip out
🐾 Have a quiet space available if your pet gets overwhelmed

Wishing you and your pets a safe & cozy Thanksgiving! ❤️

Foreign Body removal Thursday! 🐶🐾
You never know what pets might get into… Today, Dr. Sweigard removed a large foreign body from one of her patients-it appears to be strips of a leather rug!
Thankfully, this puppy is already feeling so much better and recovering well from surgery! 💕🐶
