OMG, in our living room we saw the eclipse! The left photo was during build up to OUR maximum view & the one on right is a very short few minutes afterwards. We are now 20 minutes from peak & in my pinhole & shadow line up the bite of the moon is in lower right & leaving quickly. We had a soft hazy cloud covering but even then the light changed dramatically. David & I saw the 2017 total eclipse outside of Salem OR & hope to see the April 8 2024 in Indianapolis but had wavered on going. We were like children at Christmas this morning & we’re thinking we might get it together & make it back East after all.

We are 10 minutes out from our maximum view of this eclipse. The light is odd so I took a photo of it streaming through the living room. The light is in broken stream & has an arc on lower 1/2 right side.

Well, well…up here in Pacific Northwest - we can see the Sun. Always a pleasure but a special treat today because there is a solar eclipse this morning. It is already under way & will peak at around 9:20 am for Seattle area - we aren’t in the direct path. David just came down armed for viewing - a pair of Binoculars & a kitchen sieve.

Sometime last night Mars shifted gears from Libra ♎️ to Scorpio ♏️. Stripped gears might be more to the point! Those two signs are very different from each other. Yesterday was tea time 🫖 w friends, Mars in Scorpio is like jousting w friends & forgetting it started out as a game. 🤺

I’m thinking of the TV show Lucifer 👹 when he would lean in & look deeply into a person’s eyes & say “tell me what you deeply desire”.

So - two months of leaning into our inner depths (shadow) & answering that question which can pop out an answer that takes us by surprise! 💥 Hidden agendas & motives…exposed. Boo! 👻

As they say, it’s been a minute! So…how are you & where have you landed?!

The last 3 years were wild in an astrological sense & it felt like a time to live the experience rather than conceptualize it. (For a person with 6 of 10 planets in chatty, conceptual air signs, that’s saying a lot!!)

But, I’m ready to talk. How about you?

Let me say - Aries, Libra, Cancer & Capricorn has had an extreme make-over. My life looks the same but what goes on between my two ears is almost unrecognizable to me. How about you?

I’m still me. But…

The same group listed above along with ALL other signs are now working through a new take on the Aries “self” balanced with Libra “others”. How are your partnerships, close friendships, trusted advisors going? Are you/we playing nicely together? Have we dropped out our wants & needs or the others in our lives in a fit of “my way or the highway”?

Our charts show exactly where those issues are most likely to arise so
I’m ready to talk but things have changed. How do we do it? Zoom? One on one? A face to face group?

I wrote this on ElsaElsa.com as a response to an Essay by Midara Love Letter to Aquarius dated Nov 8, 2021.

Thank you for the outpouring of Aquarian love, Midara. Perhaps only a Scorpio can see Aquarius this clearly. But then, I have Pluto in the first opposite Mercury, Venus & Jupiter in Aquarius & in Libra’s house. And Uranus square my Mars, Moon & Neptune Stellium in Libra in the third. And I have Capricorn Sun in 6th House w Saturn trine in Virgo.

After almost 52 years of working w my chart (I’m almost 72), I totally can see the truth of me in your essay & in my life. I’ve often thought I made my life hard for myself but I was grappling w outer planet issues in a personal chart & holding myself to high standards of integrity, justice & inclusiveness. It’s been exhausting but I’m thrilled where I’ve landed in myself.

Currently agog at Humanity though.

Meanwhile watching the Capricorn stellium working out on the world stage & picking myself up from 2020 Saturn Pluto conj along w lunar eclipse right on my Sun (oh, come on, Cosmos!! Really!?!) the work, my work, is not done yet. But Shadow work & Projection never is, right? And it is always a bit lonely no matter the sign/aspect because only I know my inner landscape & must live from there.

Now though it’s as natural & “easy” as brushing my teeth. I am eternally grateful to Carl Jung & my fellow astrologers, you, Elsa, Forrest, Arroyo, Tyl, Spiller, etc. who know astrology is not about how well our day will go! 😉

Dear Friends, I am still here &, Cosmos knows, as deep in it as anyone but thrilled beyond expression to have a path & tool as useful as astrology ☀️⭐️🌙 for going into deep personal issues & figuring out the shadow, projections, true joys & values in my life.

My fervent hope is that you have such a tool & path in yours. ❤️

If you do, work it like your life depends on it. Certainly, the quality of your life does.

If you don’t, find one that takes you deep and high and let it teach you as you master the nuances of that path.

All that being said, I hope you and yours are making it through with Grace & Beauty, Kindness & Compassion for yourself and others.

Full moons are loaded with energy and this one in Sagittarius And an Eclipse to boot. From writing astrological forecasts and horoscopes, trust me when I say there is nothing like the power of putting the current transits on your own chart! That being said, at the level of the collective, all of us under one sky, eclipses move through the signs at the rate of 19 years and spend 19 months in a polarity of signs. Since June 2020 we learning Gemini/Sagittarius lessons. The leading edge is Gemini so we are upgrading our communication skills. My guess is we are having a hard time actually doing the part of communication that is called "Listening". Not to rebuttal or get back to our story but to understand each other. (Or is that just me?) Maybe learning the power of words which can break our hearts and souls. Yes, really! The Sagittarius part gets updated too. What beliefs are we so enmeshed in we don't even know how much they are working against us. As an individual and as a culture. Beliefs that keep us from reach to a far horizon. Full moons are designed to bring light to what has been hidden. And an eclipse says "Really, be brave and look. Now! Tell yourself the truth and maybe take steps to change." Sometimes these eclipses insist we change and if that is the case, the next two weeks is a great time to clear the old clutter to make room for the new. Plus Mercury is about to go retrograde. Go inside to your heart and longings and reorient your compass. Again, clear the clutter and be ready for the new intentions of the Solar Eclipse soon.
Again, there is nothing as powerful as looking at the cosmic weather in your own chart. These are the conversations I live for!
