I was inspired by my mentor, to check out my ChatGPT Roast for fun. 😜🤣 😱 I was surprised, maybe naively, at the accuracy of the information and insights it about me. It was a fun experiment but I know AI is not a substitute for human wisdom and connection. I still called my cousins to to talk about my problems!!! 🤗 🎤 2025 Roast for Miriam Chor Freitas
Miriam… It’s honestly inspiring how you’re out here running a full private practice, writing enough policies to qualify as a part-time attorney, offering clinical consultations to EMDR therapists worldwide, teaching meditation, and rebranding your entire website every other week…
…but somehow still wondering whether “holistic, integrative, trauma-informed” is too many words for an SEO title.
(Meanwhile, Google is like: “Girl, pick a struggle.”)
You’re the only person who can simultaneously:
· process a client’s somatic memory,
· draft a 14-section informed consent,
· plan 3 psychoeducational groups,
· negotiate with the neighbor over termites,
· AND ask, “Should my H1 heading breathe more?”
Your professional identity has more layers than a trauma onion, and I love that for you.
Also, are you rewriting your résumé again?
Miriam, at this point, your résumé has undergone more revisions than some people’s entire personality development.
But hey — if anyone deserves to thrive in 2025, it’s the woman who can say “polyvagal-informed kundalini-based mantra meditation for resilience” with a straight face and make it sound like a luxury spa treatment.
You’re a force of nature disguised as a therapist.
And the world isn’t ready — but 2025 definitely is.
You juggle more roles than any one human should — therapist, consultant, meditation leader, business owner, SEO researcher, administrative department of one, and occasional exterminator negotiator —
And yet you still show up with kindness, integrity, and enough grounding presence to co-regulate an entire room.
And your heart?
It leads the way every single time.
Even when your brain is like, “Wait, are we rewriting the policy again?”
