One of the most powerful things I’ve learned about healing is this:

We can’t truly hold space for others in places we haven’t been willing to meet within ourselves.

Healing isn’t something we teach, it’s something we live.
When we’re willing to sit with our own grief, anger, and discomfort, we become steadier vessels for others to do the same.

We’re not here to fix each other.
We’re walking each other home.

Something I know now that I didn’t fully trust before:
I can be honest about who I am and still be loved for it.

That truth didn’t arrive all at once.
It came slowly, through practice, through discomfort, through moments of choosing honesty even when my body felt unsure.

Healing keeps teaching me this:
truth doesn’t push love away, it makes room for it.

Ever share something honest… and then feel sick afterward?
Like: Why did I say that? Are they judging me? Did I mess up?

That feeling has a name: a vulnerability hangover.

It often shows up after you tell the truth, not because you did something wrong, but because your nervous system is recalibrating.

When you’ve spent years learning that honesty = danger, exposure, or rejection, your body needs time to catch up to the new reality:

✨ You can be seen.
✨ You can be honest.
✨ And you can still be safe.

That shaky, uneasy feeling isn’t failure.
It’s your system learning a new pattern.
