Nature really does know best. I feel like I say that in these online spaces every week… and here I am again.

Let’s talk about Vitamin C, because my ever-delicious and very popular Rosehip Oxymel is back on the shelves.

I love oranges. In the winter I truly crave them. I let myself indulge in those bright, organic Cara Cara oranges and savor that tart sweetness. My mouth is watering just typing about them.

And I know the Vitamin C in those oranges is the real thing.

AND I know that the Vitamin C inside of those oranges is real. Not only does an organic orange contain 30% more vitamin C than the conventional, I try to leave as much plinth attached to the fruit I eat as possible. That white stuff holds gorgeous amounts of pectin, and immune supportive flavonoids like hesperidin in it.
