Assisted Living with a Personal Touch
Need a little extra help for a short period of time before returning home from an injury or illness? Looking for a new home that preserves independence while providing assistance? The Heartland Assisted Living Community incorporates a holistic approach to our environment as we strive to preserve the independence of our residents. We provide access to activities, personalized care, and support services as needed to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being.
According to AssistedLivingInfo.com, assisted living is suited to persons who have had, in some way, a “slight decline in health, and may be in need assistance in performing one or more activities of daily living.” Perhaps the person no longer can or wants to cook for themselves, needs assistance with medication, or is at risk for falls, and is looking for assistance while still maintaining independence.
The Heartland provides a gracious living environment designed for ultimate comfort and safety, while preserving each resident’s independence. One bedroom apartments include a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, living room, spacious bedroom and private bathroom. Common areas include a cozy living room with a fireplace, a spacious area for dining and activities, resident parking, outdoor patio space and more.
In addition to the apartment, there are many amenities included in the monthly rate, including three prepared meals a day, snacks, weekly housekeeping and laundry, maintenance of permanent fixtures, basic cable TV, utilities (except telephone), activities, stand-by assistance with many activities of daily living, and more. Enhanced services are available.
