That’s why we’re excited to welcome the new CEO of the Ohio Pharmacists Association Sara Kilpatrick to Powell Pharmacy. A fellow Powell mom, fresh leadership and bold thinking are exactly what our profession needs right now. As Ohio’s high influenza rates continue to rise, CMA member Dr. Mrunal Shah sat down with 10TV - WBNS to discuss rising rates, the importance of vaccination, and tips to stay protected.

“Taking the vaccine protects you,” Dr. Shah shared. “It doesn’t protect you from getting the flu, but it protects you from having a severe case of the flu. It decreases the risk of hospitalization and definitely decreases the risk of death.”
