New sharps disposal container being offered at the Convenience Center!

We now have 4 disposal options available for the community to safely dispose of medically necessary needles, syringes, etc. Along with the newest box at the Powhatan Convenience Center, you can find additional boxes at the following locations:

Huguenot Volunteer Fire Department 1959 Urbine Rd
Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Department 5631 Anderson Hwy
Powhatan County Health Department 3908 Old Buckingham Rd

Free sharps containers can be obtained by visiting the Health Department of calling or texting Mobile Outreach at 804-372-7933.
