This February, Lori Knapp Choice celebrates Black History Month 💛💚🖤

As we honor this month, we want to pause and reflect on how our work today is deeply connected to the African American advocates who made self-direction possible. We don't just support choice and independence—we stand on the shoulders of Black leaders who fought to ensure that people with disabilities could live, work, and thrive in their own communities.

Towering at over six feet tall with the gentlest heart imaginable, Josh brings warmth, humor, and pure joy into every room he enters. October 6th - 12th is Active Aging Recognition Week.

Active Aging Week is an annual weeklong campaign aimed at celebrating and highlighting the positive aspects of aging. Throughout the week, organizations around the country offer free wellness activities and exercise programs for older adults to participate in, with the goal of showcasing their age-friendly wellness programs and promoting a positive message of aging well.

Yesterday we joined Milwaukee County's Youth Empowerment Resource Fair at the Vel Phillips Youth & Family Justice Center! 🎉

It was an amazing opportunity to connect with judges, human service workers, CLTS case managers, and other organizations dedicated to supporting youth and families in Milwaukee.

This marks our third resource event in the County this summer, and we're grateful for the chance to share more about the CLTS program and build strong community connections. 💙
