TUBB CLUBB! TUBB CLUBB! TUBB CLUBB!

Long post but please read:

The TUBB CLUBB originated 30+ years ago when a group of Uptown Business-persons were looking for a way to do some good. The group of businesspeople generally got together each Friday night after a long week to enjoy some camaraderie, share a drink or two and solve the world's problems. One of the problems was that there were some really great organizations that do amazing things but have difficulty with funding. After just the right amount of "thinking fuel" the group landed on the Wisconsin Badger Camp as a cause that was definitely worthy of their assistance. At the time, the TV-5 Badger Camp Telethon was on TV so that may be why they decided that Badger Camp was the organization they were going to help! It was decided... The Uptown Businesspersons Bureau or TUBB club was formed. From that first Friday in December - way back then, the first Friday in December became the annual TUBB CLUBB event.

Over the years, the attendees have changed, the venue has changed, the organizers have changed but the mission has remained constant - to raise funds for Wisconsin Badger Camp, so they can continue their tradition of offering camp to individuals that are developmentally disabled. Badger Camp has NEVER turned away a camper due to their inability to pay for camp and the funds raised through TUBB CLUBB go directly to this cause. Over the years, the event has morphed into what it is today, which includes bag raffles, basket raffles, silent auctions and a live auction as well as homemade candy being prepared and sold up to and during the event!

As with most fundraisers, this event couldn't happen without help and support from so many individuals and business and we are so thankful to everyone who helps out!!

This year's TUBB CLUBB is less than a month away! Donations and sponsors have been coming in nicely and the night should be full of fun and excitement. That being said, we could always use more donation items for the raffles or monetary donations. Basically, everything helps! If you or your business would like to help make this year the best TUBB CLUBB ever, feel free to call me at 642-2870 of message me and I'd be happy to share more with you or to come pick up anything you wish to donate!

Lastly, even if you are unable to donate anything, your attendance at our fundraiser would really be appreciated - the more the merrier. It's been said that the TUBB CLUBB puts the FUN in FUNdraising!!!

It’s because we’re always working hard to make sure camp stays accessible to everyone who wants to attend. Wisconsin Badger Camp is a private, non-profit organization registered as a charity in the state of Wisconsin — and we receive no state or federal funding to operate. That means every dollar raised, every grant written, and every event hosted directly supports our campers and keeps camp affordable for families.

Our mission is to serve individuals with developmental disabilities by providing quality outdoor recreational experiences. Every grant we apply for, every donation we receive, and every fundraising event we host helps fund camperships, maintain our facilities, and create life-changing experiences for our campers.

At Wisconsin Badger Camp, our goal is to provide a positive, natural environment where individuals with developmental disabilities can learn about their surroundings and realize their full potential. Through shared camp experiences, campers build friendships, develop social skills, and gain confidence. Everyone is welcome at Badger Camp — no matter the severity of their disability. ❤️

We're so grateful for A.Y. McDonald's remarkable donation to Wisconsin Badger Camp! And the cherry on top? They're directing that donation towards a sponsorship to our 1966 Event! How awesome! While the chilly weather will keep golf at bay, they can join the festivities at the 1966 Event on December 13th 2025!
