We got to end our sprinkler fun with a “Street Treet” Thank you Randy and Amy Ludvik for bringing the ice cream truck to BAK. Thank you to Mrs. Quam for organizing and to the PTO for helping cover the cost.

Ready, Set, get wet! This was the perfect way to cool off on this hot day! Thank you to our janitorial staff for coordinating the sprinkler systems and thank you to Mrs Ziegler for working out the schedule!

We enjoyed our lunch picnic style. A huge shout out to our cafeteria staff for all the wonderful breakfasts and lunches this year. Thank you for always having them packed up and ready for us!

What a great way to end such a busy school year! I sure will miss these kiddos but I know they will do great things in First Grade. Have a safe and fun summer!

A note went home yesterday about the last day of school. Please be sure to send these items with your child that day.
Also report cards, student supplies and materials will be coming home on Monday, please send a bookbag to help get these things home.

As many of you know, we have adopted a new social emotional curriculum that we have implemented this school year. We have learned to be better learners, friends, problem solvers, etc. With summer just around the corner, there are many emotions from students regarding a new grade level, summer, etc. To help ease some anxiety, we are going to spend some time this week thinking about summer. Each day we’ll have a topic for you to discuss with your child(ren). Today, we are starting to think about where we will go for the summer. Are we staying home with an adult, going to a babysitter, a relative? Knowing where they’ll be spending much of their time will help them to start wrapping their minds around these big changes in their little worlds!

We wanted to address the last day of school from the BAK perspective, as we understand some notes have gone home from Bluff View elementary grades that have caused some questions for our parents/guardians.

Our last day of school will be a full day. We have sprinkler fun planned, as well as other activities, and just really hope for the opportunity to love on your children for one last day after a year that has been unlike any other that we have experienced. We are hopeful that students will attend so that we can have this time with them.

This is a regular attendance day (as it also is for Bluff View) for those who have asked that question as well.

Please reach out if there are questions. Thank you for everything you have done to make this year a success despite the difficulties that have faced us all. We appreciate it so very much.
