We can't feel great all the time day in and day out.
Accepting the downward flow is soo important.
Expect to feel all the emotions. Expect to feel energetic and exaughsted.
There is purpose in both.

I used to have stacks of notebooks, filled with poetry and writings.
I had to leave them behind to escape an abusive relationship. I left with one suitcase nothing else.
I haven't written much sense, it was triggering and since doing a lot of trauma work on myself from that time... I am ready to write again.

So here's the beginning I'll share it with you, it's maybe just a poem... but it's mine and I hope you enjoy.

Soft Soul

Blending the lines that boxed me in
shapeless boundaries in vastness I dance again
open wandering free
there's wonder here
there's hope
a desire out of peace
a caged animal released
I am woman
I do not roar
I hum softly
nurturing from the deep wells within
a guttural expression
soft
subtle
of steel
forged in the fires
dipped in the waters
rebirth
no
a surrender to myself
