A big thank you to the members of the VFW Lachmund-Cramer Post 7694 - Sauk Prairie, WI for presenting a Veterans Day program for The Pines Campus today. Each of the 12 resident veterans were honored and presented with a certificate for their service. Matthew Brennan, Sauk Prairie High School Music Director, sang patriotic songs and led a patriotic sing-a-long. Following the program, everyone visited and enjoyed scones and coffee. It was such FUN for the folks to welcome the Peek A Boo Daycare kiddos, hand out candy, and see all their marvelous costumes! Several residents' great-grandchildren came by to trick-or-treat too, and later on the apartments, assisted living and memory care all had Halloween Happy Hour parties! Thank you so much to Pine Glen Apartment Manager Kelly for making the spook-tacular chocolate Frankenstein toppers for the dessert - we hope everyone's Halloween was fantastic!
