Pines and Pine Villa folks enjoyed a "By Request" program by pianist Richard Shaten yesterday. 🎶

He has a vast repertoire of over 2000 songs and residents were delighted they could hear songs of their choosing. They're already thinking of more song titles to have him play next time. We're so grateful to create moments like these that brighten days! 💕

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Red Cross Blood Drive at Pine Glen on Monday, January 5! 💗

Twenty-four units were collected, which can help save 72 lives. It was extra-special that Pine Glen tenant Judy got to visit with her granddaughter as she donated.

Three more drives are planned for this year, so watch for more info to come!

We love our Sauk Prairie community! 💕

Thank you to Miss Maria's Childcare Center for coming to visit Pine Glen Apartments on Friday night. The tenants had a ball playing Bingo, Statues, Balloon Toss and other games with the kiddos. And a big thank you to the families for providing lots of yummy treats. 🍪🍬

It was Pines' folks turn for a bus ride yesterday. The goal was to spot eagles and they were successful! 🦅

They were able to watch an eagle on a nest and see it fly down to to the ground before it flew away. What magnificent birds! Another highlight was seeing the progress of the Great Sauk - Walking Iron Trail Wisconsin River Recreation Bridge, which is set to open in the fall connecting Sauk and Dane County Trails.

The Happy Hustlers 4H Club paid us a visit recently. 😊 One of the young men designed a Jeopardy game himself as his 4H project and led the activity with the residents.

Intergenerational programming has so many benefits! Seniors can help young people gain perspective and pursue their dreams, and young people can energize seniors and reduce the sense of isolation some feel. A win-win for all! 💞
