From the Big Easy to the Big Apple

I’m thrilled to share that I have obtained my license to practice in New York!

After serving the Baton Rouge community and a season of meaningful growth expanding my practice into Texas and Virginia, this milestone has been in the works for quite some time. Expanding into additional states has been an intentional process as well as an engaging and challenging professional adventure. Along the way, it has broadened my perspective and given me the privilege of supporting incredible individuals across diverse communities.

I’m now proud to serve clients located in Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, and New York.

This week marks the second anniversary of opening Brittney Santora, LCSW LLC! In that time, I’ve had the privilege of conducting 1,746 sessions with 272 incredible clients, spanning over 1,700 miles.

I am deeply grateful for each person who has entrusted me to walk alongside their journey of healing, growth, and transformation.

The past two years have been an honor and the best part is, this is just the beginning. Expanding my reach is on the horizon… stay tuned! 💫

Today, I held my 1,000th session as Brittney Santora, LCSW LLC.

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible privilege of being a safe space, a source of support, and a witness to the powerful journeys of growth and healing my clients embark on every day.

The bravery, courage, and commitment I see in my clients is remarkable. Watching them improve relationships, care for their families, step into their best selves, and become true agents of change is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

To my clients—past, present, and future—thank you for trusting me with your stories, your struggles, and your victories. This milestone is a testament to your hard work and resilience.

This week marks the completion of an incredible first year since opening Brittney Santora, LCSW LLC! Over the past year, I’ve held 789 sessions with 140 amazing clients across 3 states. I’m so grateful for all of those who have entrusted me to be a part of their healing journey and the growth we’ve shared. Here's to many more moments of healing, connection and transformation in year two!

"The initial instinct for most men when faced with strong emotions is to look for a problem to solve." "...they prefer to get to the solution first and talk about how they got there later. Solving a problem tends to give men the time to process and understand how they are feeling, thus giving them the necessary time to think before communicating." "When you force someone to talk about their emotions before they are ready, you risk alienating them or encouraging them to shut down and stop sharing."

Fathers comprehend and express emotions differently as they spend time processing their feelings.

My incredible clients have been putting in some hard work in 2024. This week, I surpassed 500 hour-long sessions with clients spanning from the deserts of West Texas and the bayous of South Louisiana to the beaches of Virginia. I can't wait to see what we can accomplish in the next 500 sessions before the year is up!
