🌿 Weekend Self-Care Reminder from Always Hope 🌿

The weekend is here and that means it's time to slow down, breathe deeply, and check in with you. 🧠💛

Here are a few gentle reminders as you move into the next couple of days:

✨ You don’t have to “earn” rest.
You are allowed to relax without being productive.

✨ Boundaries are self-care.
It’s okay to say no to plans that drain you and yes to quiet moments that restore you.

✨ Self-care isn’t always glamorous.
Sometimes it's taking a nap, doing laundry, going for a walk, or finally making that therapy appointment.

✨ Mental health matters always.
This weekend, give yourself permission to feel what you're feeling without judgment.

Take what you need. Leave what you don’t. And remember, caring for yourself isn’t selfish, it’s essential. 💚

You deserve peace. You deserve rest. You deserve care.

🌿 We Want to Hear From You! 🌿

Whether you’re already part of our community or considering mental health support for yourself or a loved one, your voice matters to us.

We’re working to ensure our practice continues to meet the needs of those we serve and we'd love your input:

👉 What qualities, services, or experiences do you look for in a mental health practice?

Is it flexible scheduling, specialized therapies, cultural sensitivity, virtual sessions, family support, or something else?

Your feedback helps us grow in the right direction and serve you better.
Please share your thoughts in the comments or send a private message if you prefer.

Thank you for being part of this conversation 💙

Together, we can create a space that truly supports healing and well-being.

September is National Su***de Prevention and Awareness Month

This month, we honor the lives tragically lost to su***de, hold space for those living with the weight of suicidal thoughts, and extend compassion to the families, friends, and communities forever changed by this pain. 💙

Suicidal thoughts do not discriminate, they can affect anyone at any age or stage of life. Speaking up takes immense courage, and healing often begins when someone feels truly heard and supported. 💚

If you or someone you love is struggling, please know you are not alone. Support is available, and reaching out can be the first step toward hope.

At Always Hope, our experienced providers are here to walk alongside you with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. If you would like to schedule an appointment please give us a call at (225) 402-2436.

Together, we can replace silence and stigma with hope, healing, and connection. 🌟

🌐💙 Telehealth Rules: Do’s & Don’ts for Care at Our Practice 💙🌐

We love being able to connect with you through telehealth! It makes care more flexible and accessible! To help you get the most out of your mental health sessions, here are a few quick reminders:

✅ DO:
• Find a private, quiet space where you feel safe to share.
• Use headphones if possible for added privacy.
• Make sure your device is charged and your internet connection is stable.
• Treat your telehealth session like an in-office appointment.

🚫 DON’T:
• Join your session while driving or riding in a car.
• Multitask (shopping, cooking, working, etc.) during your session.
• Use public spaces where others may overhear sensitive conversations.
• Forget to test your audio and video before starting.

Your time in therapy is valuable. You deserve a space that allows you to focus, reflect, and connect fully. 🌿✨
