Recently, we celebrated National CRNA Week, and I want to take a moment to recognize and wish all of my fellow Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists a very happy belated CRNA Week.
Many of you who follow my page may simply know me as the nurse anesthetist… the person who placed your epidural during labor, or the one reassuring you before surgery while I float you off to sleep.
This year marks 14 years as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, with 10 of those years proudly serving patients right here in Pratt at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
Along the way, I completed a fellowship in acute pain management for nurse anesthetists and later earned my post-master’s certification as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
When I chose to step away from my role in the operating room, part-time, to build Lotus Aesthetics & Wellness, I never wanted it to be “just a med spa.”
It was built on the belief that exceptional aesthetic care should be grounded in advanced medical expertise, safety, and in how we make people feel seen, confident, and that they truly belong.
Thank you for allowing me to care for you in the operating room, in vulnerable moments, and now in helping you feel confident in your own skin at Lotus.
With gratitude,
Melissa Moffitt-Craft, MSNA, CRNA, AGNP-BC
