Strength & Balance
This slower-paced class is ideal for beginners as well as anyone looking to build a strong foundation in fitness. Students will focus on developing stronger muscles, improving balance, and increasing overall stability through safe, guided movements. Exercises emphasize core strength, posture, and proper technique to improve body awareness, prevent injury, and reduce the risk of falls. The program also supports increased energy, mobility, and confidence in everyday activities.
Classes include both standing and floor exercises, and students are encouraged to bring a towel and water.
Instructor: Joy Travers is a nationally certified personal trainer and master yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience helping students improve strength, balance, and overall well-being. She combines her deep knowledge of movement and injury prevention with a supportive teaching style to create a safe and welcoming environment for all fitness levels.

Hatha Yoga
This class focuses on holding poses, mindful breathing, and aligning the body to release stuck tension and energy. The slower pace allows students to develop strength, balance, and flexibility while improving posture and body awareness. Regular practice can reduce stress, support better sleep, increase circulation, and enhance overall well-being. Hatha Yoga is accessible to all levels and provides a foundation for cultivating both physical health and inner calm.
