✨ A Huge Thank You to the UAMS Medical Students! ✨

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible UAMS medical students who volunteered their time on Saturday in McGehee to provide free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings to our rural community. Your compassion, professionalism, and dedication to service made a meaningful impact on everyone who attended.

Because of your efforts, community members received vital health services and resources they may not otherwise have had access to. Your presence truly helped make the event a success, and we appreciate the kindness and care you showed to each person.

The event, held at the McGehee GAP Services Office, also offered:

✅ Free health screenings
✅ An optional research survey
✅ Free hot dogs & chips
✅ Food boxes with a confidential HIV test

To the UAMS students: thank you for showing up, serving well, and helping us strengthen the health of Southeast Arkansas. Your commitment to community care is deeply appreciated! 💙
