Scumback update 3/19/26 Well, Maui was an adventure for sure!

Rained every day. We had two semi good days out of 7. Rain total was 46.5 inches on Haleakala. In Kapalua it was over 19 inches!

TSA: Well, they're short staffed. I had to go through screening four times. They scanned my iPad 3 times. They didn't put it in with my other things (shoes, jacket, carry on, etc) in the tray. Supposed to put it in my bag. They didn't. I left without it. I have to pay to get it back now. Joy.

All of my correspondence was on the iPad, it should be back in about 5 days.

I am extending the sale till 3/31/26 because of that. Still had a good time...indoors...watching Bond movies and such.

Anyway, back to work after I do the TSA paperwork.

Sheesh.

It’s raining like mad up here in Kapalua, but we did get out to the Aston Kaanapoli Shores club yesterday to see my buddy Harry Troupe tear up the fretboard.

Scumback update March 14. We have gotten over 11 inches of rain in three days here in Kapalua Maui. They haven’t closed the airport even though Kahului got 16 inches over the last three days. Storm is not over for another week so I’m kind of waiting on pins and needles to see if the weather is gonna clear so the planes can fly.
Still hoping to get out of here but I’m not holding my breath. I may extend the $10 off sale since I won’t be back to start building if I’m delayed getting out of here. Hope you’re all staying safe in the mainland with the storm is going on on there. Over and out!
