When your mom is a Nurse Practitioner at an integrative medicine clinic you do things like IV therapy, homeopathy, HBOT, silvadene, and honey poultice for burn care. I just want to give a huge shout out to my MHD family for always walking me through the parts of medicine that are so sacred and I have yet to fully discover. Laser can be done even while I work!
My first experience of low level (or cold) laser was after 6 years of nursing and an episode of trochanter bursitis that I just couldn’t hang with. I completed a series of 6 treatments with my chiropractor and have since then swore by it!
Low level laser is a therapy growing in medicine. We can use it to stimulate healing and reduce inflammation and pain, but that’s not all.
Low level laser has been used in aesthetics, for bone, nerve, and even musculoskeletal injury. Recent studies are finding the effects of laser can even be helpful, to some degree, with cardiac function.

Hey friends! March is Autoimmune Disease awareness month! Our clinic hosts monthly health talks. I’m so blessed to be the guest for our March health talk. We’ll be covering autoimmune disease. Here’s a summary of what to expect. Conversations in Integrative Healthcare is our continuing health education series that we are hosting monthly at The Mobile Health Doc office. We offer this complimentary to our community so we can bring healthcare professionals together to share how you can live a healthier life. Friends and family are always welcome!

Our featured speaker for this month will be our very own Carmen Dalton, F.N.P. of Arizona Healthcare Freedom. Join Carmen for our March health talk during Autoimmune Disease Awareness month.

With Dignity and BCBS in continued negotiations I just wanted to reach out to you all. I work for The Mobile Health Doc as a family nurse practitioner alongside Dr. Karissa Walton and Dr. Kristin Newell, both of whom are NMDs.

Our Tri-City area is served by 1 hospital system and many organizations in the area are provided benefits through Blue Cross Blue Shield. If you’re one of those patients who may be having to look for a new provider in the near future, give us a call. Same day appointments are available.

I am currently accepting new Medicare and Aetna patients. Will soon have contracts with BCBS and UHC. Our office is also working on applications with Devoted, Tricare, and Cigna.
