There is an additive epidemic in the U.S. in our food supply. It thrills me that more and more young people are learning and encouraging others to grow their own food again!
Our grocery shelves are riddled with foods loaded with toxins, molds, and additives that Europe has already banned, restricted, or has tightly controlled.
Artificial dyes linked to hyperactivity in kids, preservatives associated with cancer risk, emulsifiers suspected of disrupting the immune system or fertility… the list is long, and exposure levels in the U.S. are dramatically higher than anywhere else. The list is long! These toxic chemicals are changing everything inside your body.
Just consider store-bought bread:
a typical U.S. loaf contains an average of 6.2 additives, compared to 2.9 in Canada, 2.3 in France, and just 1.3 in Italy 🚩
We can influence on our food regulatory system and keep risky additives on the market. We can join forces to hold the industry accountable!
How? By not buying poor quality products on the shelves! We vote with our $$$$, every time we buy those products. Manufactures make what sells!
