We had the privilege of hosting a vow renewal ceremony today. Our residents, Richard and Lisa, have been married for 34 years. It was a beautiful ceremony, and I would like to extend our gratitude to Chad from Prayer & Praise Ministries for officiating the ceremony, Chad and his wife for providing the cake, and our exceptional Activities Director, Evelyn, for organizing this ceremony to make their day special.

One of our residents passed away last month. He was an individual who delighted in sharing jokes and spreading joy; he was consistently happy and smiling. We took a moment to pay tribute to him by engaging in karaoke, sharing his jokes, recounting stories about him, and enjoying time together participating in all his favorite activities. We painted rocks with messages to him and placed them in our rock garden and released balloons in his honor. Although it is often advised not to form attachments in healthcare, this is impossible when you spend considerable time together, providing care, sharing laughter, and learning about their lives. We're one big family here. Rest in peace, Armando; you will certainly be deeply missed by the residents and staff. 💕
