At The Northern Lighthouse, we work with families to provide individualized support, connect them with community resources, and help ensure they have the tools needed to succeed both in and out of school. Our goal is to collaborate with supports for children facing behavioral, emotional, or social challenges by helping coordinate care and reduce barriers to stability and success.
Today we share difficult news that effective February 24th, The Northern Lighthouse Safe Harbor Youth Shelter will be closing our doors due to lack of funding opportunities and resources to operate.
Thank you to everyone who has stood beside us, believed in our mission, and helped us change the trajectory of young lives for the better. Our commitment to youth and families in our community remains steadfast.
