Join us tomorrow, Friday, February 6th, and wear red to recognize the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” movement. We’re wearing red to shine a light on the fact that heart disease symptoms often look different for women than they do for men.

Here’s why we’re “Going Red”:

Education: Recognizing that symptoms and risk factors are unique to women.
Prevention: Encouraging early detection and heart-healthy habits.
Action: Reminding our community to learn the life-saving skill of CPR.

Rooted in ancient traditions like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, the modern concept of mind-body wellness emphasizes that a positive mindset can actually strengthen the immune system, lower cortisol levels, and help balance hormones.

Tamra Kendrick comes to you from her hospital room where she is rehabbing from a life threating accident. She has had her leg amputated, her other hip and knee rebuilt, broken ribs, broken sternum, and much more as they try to put her back together again. Her positive attitude has helped her overcome the intense pain and struggle in her goal to someday walk again.
